I don't know, but, aiming for the extremes of the scale isn't the best way to keep fish, unless you like dead ones.

i go away tommoz in the caravan my sister will bee doing the fish she goes out at 7.40 for work gts back 5.should she put the heater on in the morning or turn it off at night.what

Heaters, like filters, should be on constantly. Turning them off at different points during the day will cause temperature changes that will kill fish.

I keep my fish at 79....

It'd be good to get one, else your fish will die. If you can't house your fish appropriately, don't keep them.
