What is your favorite background?

We were trying to figure out what kind of background to use for the tank when someone realized there is a mirror on our tank. Its great when the tank is freshly cleaned, but it REALLY makes the algae on the back wall stand out when its not.

What is everyones favorite background for a planted tank, and why? If you have photos or links to share, that would be awesome as well....

Black. It makes the green of the plants really stand out and also the fish. Saw it in a fish shop and when I move my tank to my new house, its going from bluw to black. New tank is also going to be black, it looks great

Yup, black background also. Or as close to black as you can get. I think I actually have a midnight-blue that fades to black, but you really can't tell.
