What Is Wrong With This Platy Please

Yesterday I noticed one just sitting still in the tank just staring out the glass. Now it's in the cave just sitting at the bottom. It moved when my Betta came in then went straight back in and is just there not moving.

One of them had fry yesterday as I saw a few of them in the tank. This one has been acting weird since yesterday.

Well tbh I just don't know as I didn't see whoever it was give birth and I have a few females that looked pregnant.

Have you tested your water today? How many males to females have you got now? It could be the male fish bothering her.

my mickey mouse tailed platy gave birth the other day and is still looking unwell
and hiding away just like yours
if shes female i think she might be the one that had the fry
hope the platy perks up soon

I don't thin the males are bothering her. They all seem to swim around fine no problems. I'll test my water now and post back the results.

I'm pretty sure I have 4 females and 5 males by the looks of it.

Amonia either 0ppm or 0.25ppm the colours look so similar I'm finding it hard to tell
Nitrite 0ppm

If your ratio is 5 males to four females, then the females are probably being harassed. You need more females than males, else the males will continually harass them to mate. This one seems to have had enough of it. The only thing you can do is add more females. You'll need to add around 6 more, providing your tank can hold that many, of course, but if it can't, then see if your LFS will trade the females for males, or the males for females so they're all one gender. All males means no fry, all females means some fry.
