Beginnings of a fungal growth on newly added bogwood?

The bogwood been in about 3 month there was some of this on another ornament last night but it's gone now .... Could my Corys / pleco have ate it ?

Is it dangerous ?

Looks like slime mould.
It pops up in colonies and dies off in a day or two, that could explain how it's gone off the ornament.
I had it for a couple of weeks colonising on the glass and my cory and pleco didn't touch it.
If its a slime mould its harmless just unsightly.
Make sure you don't over feed and your gravel is well hoovered that should take care of it.
