Thanks i did think creeping jenny but the leafs dont look right, i can picture something but cant recall the name, something like boc......

Doing some googleing as i type

i do have both of them in there but its not the one i mean

that is the only one left that grows to the surface! If it isnt caroliniana cabomba, then can you get a closer picture of the one you mean?

its very similiar to cabomba but is a bit different and tougher leaves

Ambulia
Cabomba
parrots feather

The Bacopa looks like Caroliniana to me. has massive thick stems on it. Could be Monnieri though, they are very similar as are all the Cabombas.
