Hey guys, I just received this dwarf gourami, and I need to know what this thing is on her face. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can you blow the pic up is it a blood red spot.

No, I can't really blow it up any more than it is. It's a red spot with a little thing hanging from it (almost like a hangnail). I'll try and get another picture.

Spots can have parasites attached, make sure it isn't a parasite, if not you will need a bacterial med.
