What Is This Fish?

Its an Oscar,
very quick growing NW Cichlid, that grows to lengths of upto 16 inches, and requires a 75G tank.
 
I'm not a doctor, but you should not keep fish in the tank with the oscar that really aren't compatible. They're very aggressive, and really I've only seen them kept with other Oscars, or by themselves, due to the aggression they have. I do not know if that helps any, but make sure to try and do some research on fish before you purchase them. And if someone at your local fish store suggested that it'd be a good tank mate for your community tank, I'd never listen to that person about fish advice again :blink:

thankfully its not my fish, but a friends. i have updated him with the info and as you can prob guess, the lfs said it would be fine to house this with others!

how big is his tank? what other fish does he have with it?...cant beleive someone would say they would be ok in a community....loads knowledge about tankmates on here...just do a quick search. Will devour anything that fits in its mouth
 
lol tiger oscar that size in a com tank lol darn, bet it thinks christmas has come early lol
