ITs just, i was in my LFS yesterday and i noticed that the PK's werent doing the "kissing" thing at all. They looked kinda strange not doing it, after i spend so much time watching my 2 doing it.
 
I believe its a sign of aggression, I'm not totally sure though. Maybe someone else will be able to confirm this for you.

hmmmmm, i know that i see mine doing it when they seem to be eating algae or wotever off the plants, and i have seen the 2 of mine "kissing" each other ( on the lips that is, not trying to nip or anything ).
 
Lip locking between any species of fish is usually a sign of aggression and fighting, it also occurs alot with Cichlids during courtship.
 
it's an agression thing, like displaying, they're probably trying to establish a hierarchy between the two of them.

i used to have 2 and never once saw them do it, I was most dissapointed :no:
