What Is "the Cell"by Steven King About

"The event became known as the Pulse. The virus was carried by every cellular phone operating in the world. Within hours, those recieving calls would become insane - or die.

In Boston, a young artist, Clayton Riddell, flees the explosive heart of the city. Clay's son has a little red cell phone. Often out of juice. But what if this time the battery is full? Clay has to reach his son, before his son reaches fr his phone...

Who doesnt have a cell phone? This utterly gripping, gory, and fascinating novel doesnt ask the question 'can you here me now?' It answers it with a vengeance. High concept, ingenious, and terrifying, CELL is the perfect nightmare for a whole new generation of Stephen King readers. "

Blurb from Stephen King, Cell. :good:

I would suggest it, it's a very good book. I've read it two or three times.

Basically what happens is that the "pulse" erases the civilized programming in our brains and it reverts people back into savage, blank-minded zombies...I dunno, hard to explain but a good book.

On that note, I got my copy signed, in the middle of the Hannaford grocery store a couple of weeks ago. I ran into Steven King while he was shopping and chatted with him a bit and got a signature!! SO COOL. (he lives 3 blocks away from me)

Yeah, he is a super-nice guy, willing to chill and chat with you for a few minutes. Most people around here are used to seeing him so it's no big deal, I'm up here for school from NH so when I saw him I was like "OH MY GOD"!!!!
