i need a couple (or one) snails.
i just want some, to eat some of the general crap...
but is there such thing, as a snail that doesnt lay eggs EVERYWHERE?
cheers,
iain

Yes zebra nerite don't as they are very hard to breed and need brackish waters in order to breed so you could get a few. They eat algae. You could get one apple snail they eat allsorts like bits of flake in the substrate, vegetables and stuff. Just get one apple and they won't breed.

I have a zebra nerite and an apple snail.

Zebra Nerite's will still lay eggs however, and they defecate absolutely everywhere.

There's a link. Very hard to breed and you need brackish waters to do so. They can lay eggs but they won't be viable. Mine doesn't poop much either

And if you're worried about eggs eveywhere just get one of each. Problem solved

I think apple snails are amazing they look really nice and you need more than one to breed

+1 on the apple snails!
Have Golden ones. The purple ones look great as well!
