What Is The Best Fillter For A Betta

I want to set my 12 gal tank up and i have to buy a new fillter but i knoe betta don't like bubble or rips on the serface of there water so what would be the best stort of filter to stop this from happening ?

I used to use a Fluval 1+ on my Betta tanks. Some people use a cut down coke bottle over the nozzle to help stem the water flow or have the nozzle hitting the back of the tank. I placed ornaments in front of mine to reduce heavy water flow and they were fine.

To be honest, I think that filter would probably be too big for a 12G tank although it never hurts to over filter. That ones is an external filter so it all depends if that is what you want or whether you'd prefer an internal one.

The flow is easier to control on an external filter, lot easier to clean and more efficient.
