What Is That?!

Hey, this is my first post on here and I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I have had my tank now for a couple of months. I have 5 platies, 2 mollies, 2 catfish and 2 african dwarf frogs.

Okay so one of my platies gave birth about a week ago and I was kind of unprepared. I have a floating breeding hatchery where I keep my babies, I only managed to save 3

Anyway this is the important bit... at the bottom of my breeding hatchery I have this jelly-like substance. It's almost transparent and has really confused me as I dont know what it is?!

I have searched all over the net and cant find anything similar.

I will try and upload a picture as soon as possible because I cant get a good enough picture with the current quality of my camera.

I would appreciate any replies

It'll be a clutch of snails eggs, your call as to whether you wish to remove them.

Welcome to the forum!

Do you have any snails in your tank? It sounds like it might be snail eggs. If you scroll down this thread you might see something like what is in your tank.

Nope i don't have any snails in my tank and I never have. They don't quite look like them eggs. There doesn't seem to be anything in the jelly apart from little bits of fry food.
