I was just about to start draining my tank to "start over" when I saw something protruding from the LR. It looks kind of like a worm (about that big around), about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long, and grayish. Just kinda of swaying with the water current. I looks to be fatter at the bottom, then skinnier at the top. Although I moved my little clowns out last week, I'd left the tank running with the rock in it until I was ready to do my overhaul. The readings of my water are still horrid, so I can't see how this could be something alive. Can someone make a guess?

I'd add a picture, but I don't know how.

Take picture, upload picture to computer, go to www.photobucket.com, upload picture there, cut and post the img tag.

Is it just a grey "tube" or is there anything coming out the end of it. Feathduster worm? Tube Worm?

I'll try to do the pic. I've already taken the pic and transfered it to the computer. I'll try to do the rest. As far as something coming out, I can't tell. The bottom half is almost as big around as a pencil, the the top half is skinnier. I can't tell if it is something coming out or not.

Try and do a google search for peanut worm or bristleworm. Both are very hard to kill ;)
