HELP!
A few months ago I started my 10 gallon aquarium. I fish-in-cycled due to misinformation from the LFS. Recently my platy gave birth to 4 seemingly healthy fry. A few days ago. She died afer what I believed to be septicemia. The morning after, every one of her fry died in their breeding net.
Recently I moved the fish to a 38 gal. I added another female to bring the female numbers back up. My silver female who was about to have babies died.... WHAT AM I DOING!?!?! Should I stop trying to breed platies? It was my initial goal going into the hobby....
I do 10-25% water changes every week.
The food is tropical flakes with apples and dried shrimp as treats.
The 38 gallon has a dwarf gourami and now... 3 platies. 1 male and 2 females, and 2 bronze cories.
