What Is Happening!?!?!?!?!

my favorite guppy of all time (alison-light blue) is extremely prego i think like 3.5 weeks. she is hiding under my heater and a white/clear fluid is coming out near her anal fin. is she sick or is she ready to drop. i dont think she is ready because i takes 4-6 weeks, right? i dont want her to die she was the first guppy i ever got

gosh, don't panic. Yes, she's probably about to drop. If you have a breeder box/net, you can scoop her into it (but don't use the net to put her in. just put it into the water and nudge her in. less stress that way). If you don't have one, get ready to catch them when she drops and place them in another tank.

Or, if you don't have another tank, floating plants are good. (If you don't have floating plants, pull a fake one from the bottom of the tank and let it float. better than nothing.)

she did it . she had it looks like around 10 fry . i cant wait to see them grow up. thanks for the help luckily i had already put her in the net before u guys posted. but thanx anyway

i thought it took alot longer for her to drop i wasnt expecting for another week or two.

Congrats It's amazing to watch them grow.

She might not be finished yet, so watch her carefully. And it's okay, that's notmal; guppies can drop between 3 and 5 weeks. They'll also hold a lot longer if conditions aren't good enough for them (I have a gup who is over a month, and just won't drop. there's nothing wrong with the water, she's just stubborn )
