2.jpg1.jpgOK I have a 10 gallon tank with the included fish in the pictures. The first picture is because of the fishes eyes, what is going on there? The second picture is of my fish that are no all just kind of laying on the bottom of the tank and swaying back and forth. Also in the bottom picture the far right fish seems to have something going on with it's eyes as well.

I am currently medicating for Ich, I just did a partial water change two days ago. Unfortunately I do not have any test kits, yet.... I will be getting one in the next few days. The Ich only affected one of the fish from what I can see and seems to be clearing up.

What's going on?

Take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.
I would invest in a liquid test kit of your own in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
How many fish are in the 10gal tank and which type.
If the eyes are bulging out its popeye.

The fish that I have in my tank are the ones you see in the picture..... Not sure what the breeds are called :)

Do a 50-75% (a 50% and then another 50% a couple hours later if you're going for 75%) and see if their condition improves at all. Also add a tablespoon of sea salt per 5 gallons to help in treating the ich and block any nitrite that may be irritating their gills if your tank isn't cycled yet (Also, how long has the tank been up and running). Their gills are probably damaged from the ich and they are oxygen deprived. Increasing oxygenation to help them breath and raising the temp up to 82F to help speed along the ich lifecycle will help. They may also have secondary infections so having some anti-bacterial meds (melafix, pimafix) and carbon for your filter on hand to remove the ich meds and treat secondary infection is a good idea. Your fish aren't looking very good, I hope they do ok. Post some more pictures if possible and try to get them less blurry.

Yeah my tank has been up for two weeks, I know....... I do have an air pump in there to help with O2 and the temp is already up to 82F. Tomorrow I am going to buy a test kit and I will do another water change. Isn't the sea salt bad for the Beta?

I also removed the carbon from my filter a few days ago since I am medicating the Ich. Should I put a new filter with carbon in now?

That exact thing happend to my fish that was in the hospital tank. it ONLY happend after adding meds that were supposed to clear up is symtoms. It made him 100% worst. After doing water changes and adding melafix, that eye problem went away.
