Im positive, I would post pics of her but I cant. But now the pair that I suspected before with the smaller femlae and the larger male that were fighting seem to be cleaning out 2 spots for the fry which are the flower pot and in a cave. Maybe they were trying to hold off the other female since it seems like they are spawning too. It also seems like they are moving rocks too. Is it normal for them to do all of this at the same time? Actually now they are cleaning the top and the inside of the flower pot, but they used to always go into the cave I setup.
Well what happened was one of my big female cons and one of my big male cons all of a sudden started to flare at eachother and turned to a darker color. I thought they were fighting because I thought the other female had already paired off with this male, but some where I read that this might be apart of spawning or something like that not really sure. I missed how it started, oh yea btw the other smaller female I thought he paired off with fought back too, but I dont know if this was becaause she thought the other female was trying to fight her or something else. Someone please tell me what is going on!
WOW! Thats great! but just so I can assure a good spawning should I shut the light off? Or should I do any other stuff so I can make it 100% sure that I get a good spawn out of this? But, the digging is not going along very well they are trying hard by trying to grab and move rocks with their mouth and almost like they are bulldozing the gravel out the way, You can kind of see where they have been digging, but its not much. Any tips will help, since this is my first time keeping and spawning any kind of cichlid.
