I was cleaning the algae off of my tank when I noticed a small brown dot. Now I think it's a snail, but I've never seen the kind from plants & such. I hope its a snail anyway, right now it's crawling around in a dixie cup w/ water cause I had to see what it was.

Are these 'bad' or are they 'good' like my gold mystery snail? Is it possible my snail had babies? I could only find one of these little things (about the size of a popcorn kernal) so far.

If its a 'good' snail can I put him in w/ my new betta?

Thanks!!

Well, If it looks like a brown snail and it's acting like a snail (just make sure it's a snail  ) Then I don't think it would be bad to put it with your betta. It's been awhile since I've had bettas though, so I forget if they eat snails.... you could ask in the betta forum :)
