What? I just CLEANED the filter!!!

Ok, my Fluval 2+ filter has this lovely little button which tells you if the filter is dirty.

The button was right down yesterday so I cleaned out the filter. When I put it all back together the button wasn't even halfway up. Cue much confusion.

So, I checked it again today and it STILL seems to think its dirty. I rinsed the pads, I rinsed the propeller inside - what else can I do?

Any fluval owners got any advice for me?

PS - for the record I cleaned the stuff in a bucket filled part way with aquarium water.

is the filter working ok now you have cleaned it? the yellow button is just a guide really, its best to go on the flow of water going back into the tank.

My filter is working perfectly, just that little yellow button is causing so much confusion in my household

So no need for me to worry?

Yeah dont worry about little yellow buttons! just keep it clean when it gets dirty after a few months you'll know when your filters need a clean

check ur flow switch, make sure its ok full

I was just a little worried cuz I've never cleaned this filter before, only ever done the external ones in the college animal house (god I want the tank in the college. It really is awesome)
