What Have I Lost ?

Hi guys, I was new to the fish world about 3 months ago, and was eager and really wanted to start my own fish tank up! I was joined this site, Went LFS once a week and was really excited at the prospect of setting up my own tank(Own little world)! So i built it all up week-by-week, then adding fish when tanks was ready, I was just so eager!Now my tank has been succesfully now for about 2 months , With some nice fish in there! But all of a sudden , Ive lost that passion! I dont seem to be bothered anymore! Obviously i'm still feeding them and water changes! But i'm excited anymore, ive lost that buzz! Whats up with me ? Help get it back! Anyone else had this ?

Ahh...I had this for a while... you just need to find the fish you are truly passionate about keeping, for instance, mines Cichlids, bot africans and central/south americans. I've been fasinated by them for the longest time.

Try keeping different species and you may find one that you really enjoy keeping, hopfully that'll "light your candle" so to speak.

Some people (infact alot) will never be content with what they have, thats why most will keep getting more and more depends on You as a person aslong as your continueing to care for your fish theres nothing wrong with wanting somthing else

I get like that about most things. Most recently, my karate. I feel like I've come to a point where I am stuck and may never progress.
Its the same with the tank. I want to make it look amazing, not just good. And when I cant, due to lack of money or inability to add that magic something. I lose interest. But only for a while.

Get a bigger tank. Always works for me.

2 years ago I had 2 tanks. A 20g and 10g. Got board and let all the water evaporate and huge alge grew. A year later I wanted to get back in and now I have 7 tanks + 2 Anoles Lizards.
