What Has My Java Done?!

Like.. today i noticed my Java fern had a bunch of little baby java ferns growing on ever leaves tip.. I jsut wanted to know.. why has it done this and How can i get it to grow more babies?

That is the way java ferns reproduce I don't think you can make it do it.... it just does it as it grows, though someone else might know more than me so don't take my word on this.

dont cut them off though, they still need nutrition from the mother plant, the leaf will begin to deterierate and the baby fern will float away so u can plant it
