What Has Caused This And How To Remove It.

hi guys and girls my tank is low stocked and not in direct sunlight and the light is only on for 6/7 hours a day but i have come back from uni to find this

any idea what is it and how to remove it? cheers in advance

It's nothing to worry about, one of my pieces of wood still grows that after months of being in the tank.
Depending what fish you have they might eat it, if not use a turkey baster to suck it up

thats good then bit odd thought as ive never had it before and ive had that wood for years anyway to prevent it coming back when i get rid of it? cheers
