What Happened To My Pink Convict Is He Okay?

My pink convict just the other day started to get really bright orange and pink. Now he/she just dug a hole in one of the corners of the tank and chases any fish that comes near it. She is eating a little bit but not very much and she only lets one fish go near the hole an that is the jewel chichlid. Is he/she okay?

Is your tank overstocked, especially with other cichlids?

No there is no eggs in the hole s/he dug and no my tank is not overstocked

So what fish do you have, sizes and tank size?

The tank is a 55 gallon. I have only 1 pink convict, 2 electric yellows that some time this week will be moved to another 55 gallon tank of there own, 2 blood parrot chichlids and 2 jewel chichlids.

Are the parrots or the jewels or both pairs? Cause if they are, then they might be terrorizing the little convict to stay out of their territory.
