What Fish?

Can someone please suggest a nice looking/colorful pair of tropical egg layers that could live in a 20gal uk tank

(i would like a egg layer pair that can stay in the tank while the eggs are in the tank aswell)
(i.e, A male and Female that wont eat the eggs)

A pair of rams, they lag eggs and they are colorful. Thye also would do nicely in a 20 U.K gallon.

Yeah, a pair of Rams is your only option for a fish that will both spawn in the tank and not eat its eggs.
Edit: Although Rams (Both Bolivian and German) are beautiful fish; they're one of the nicest species you can keep in a 20 gallon tank.
