what fish would be better to get

a wild caught or a tank raised multifacitus.

They are both for sale at the cichlid Store.com, and are about a dollar diffrence in price.

Also, is 412 a good price for a wild caught similis?

tank raised. They obviously Will Do better In a tank and not spend time wondering why they keep running into stuff and why there are these big things looking at them.
 
oh, lol, I alwyas thought wildcaught were hardier and better for breeding
 
It depends. Some fish have been SO overbred (blue rams for example) that their tank bred specimens can be weaker whereas the wild caught are hardier. In "newer" fish like the shellies there really hasn't been that problem yet. Angels are another fish that's happened to - it's hard to get good quality angels anymore :(
