Our swordtails are currently on an ever increasing population boom  We've taken some away and put into another tank but at the moment there are about as many in there as I want. The tank is an 96 gallon well planted community tank with clowns, cories, swordtails, neons and a plec. I ideally want something that will enjoy <cough> the prospect of live food and keep numbers of swordtails stable. I wondered about some of the smaller cichlid types? I've had rams previously in the smaller tank and really liked them, along with a pair of Kribensis, but they mullered the plants  I don't really want anything that will start shredding the other fish either.

The tank has quite a strong current and has loads of filtration. So what's my best bet?

Pirana's?

Ok as suggested in a post further down try some cichlids, my angels go for anything smaller than a guppy, but that would not be good for your neons
