Hey guys i recently bought a 46 gallon tank and it only has one fish in it a black molly. 2 weeks from now im planing on gradually moving 16 black molly babies in to the 46 gallon tank about 3 every 5 days so that the tank wont go balistic on me. So after all that i was wondering what kind of fish can i put in there. I have only had Black Mollies, Swordtails and Dwarf Gouramis before so other than this fish what other kind of fish can i put in the tank? Any Help Is Great. Thax.

You could keep any community fish that doesnt get too big.

Angel fish
Other peacefull Cichlids
Tetras, a shoal of any kind
Gourami's
Corries
Plec's
Danio

the list goes on, its best is you go to you rfish shop and see what you like then come back and ask about them, or look at a fish profile site and see what ud liek to keep

Are you planning on keeping all the mollies in that tank, or will you give them away later? If it is the former, I can't see you putting any other fish in.

Mollies breed like mad (as you've already found out) and they preffer hard water while tetras, angels, cories, plecos, gouramies even danios etc. preffer softer water. Though mollies can adjust to other water conditions, and vice versa, I would stick to keeping other livebearers or possibly danios with them. However, your tank will soon become overstocked if the mollies keep breeding.

Well I was planning on keeping my mollies all of them since i love them. Since they breed a lot i will keep them and have nothing but mollies but thanx for the advice guys.

since you chose only mollies.
you will need to know one thing.(or try to)
avoid friendly fish syndrome.
ive suffered it especially with mollies. :p
they are notorious for friendly fish syndrome
