What Fish For A Starter?

well yestday i decided to buy my selfd a baby biorb as im new to the fish world and my nolege is small on this subject i chose a small tank for a starter kit type thing due to the tanks size im only planing on having one small fish or maybe two three tiny fish to see how things go for a while once ive gained exsperience i will up grade to a bigger tank. hope i have done the rite thing :) so what would be the best fish for a starter with a tank my size? maybe neon tetras? or a single betta? thanx every one :good:

the baby birob is only suitable for shrimps

arh i knew i should of got the next size up lol ok shrimps it will have to be for a while owell at least i can gain some exsperience keeping somthing. will shrimp need warm warter?

no they dont need a heater
 
which shrimp survive in about 18 degrees?

and also if you have shrimp you may want to pick a species that doesnt breed, it will make a right mess in the under gravel filter, you will have to make sure that you use a small as possible(pea size) gravel so none get stuck down there, and you cant use any gravel smaller becuase it will also get sucked in

im sorry to dissapoint you but the baby biorb is a poor choice, i have this tank and made the same mistake you are about too, its a terible tank, i would take it back and get an arc 35 litre tank, its probably cheeper, and you can keep a variety of fish

most if not all freshwater shrimp originate from sub tropical waters but will live in cooler and warmer waters, theyre pretty adaptable.
