I think you mean
bubble eye goldfish?
To be looked after the same as regular gold fish except with no other fish in the tank and no sharp objects, fancy goldfish are never as hardy as regular goldfish either.
I would urge you not to buy any type of goldfish though, you mentioned you were a newbie to the fish world so
i should presume you don't know that pretty much everything you thought about goldfish is wrong.
They need a REALLY big tank in the end, preferably a pond(though fancy goldfish don't do very well in ponds).
They should have the company of at least on other goldfish, preferably same type to avoid bullying(e.g. don't keep a regular goldfish with a fancy goldfish, but most fancy goldfish can be kept together).
If you go to a fish/pet shop, don't listen to them. Goldfish CANNOT be kept in bowls or any small unfiltered tanks. You always see them being kept like this, but they don't live very long like this.
Goldfish have a lifespan of around 40 years, in bowls they usually don't make it to one. How many people do you know who have had a goldfish for 40 years?
There is no such thing as a 'small' goldfish, except young ones that will grow big. When you buy a 'small' goldfish at your pet shop, it means they are young ones. Goldfish can grow to 29inches.
They are very hardy fish though, and have character
