I'm really tiny, I'm like the size of a feeder guppy. I'm very silver and plain looking to, BUT I have a very bright blue eye that stands out. Because of this I'm not very cheap, yet not exspenive. My owner bought 9 of me today. The store told him I was an Blue Eye but he can't find anything on google about me so I think I might be another fish or I might have another name. Could anyone please tell my master what I am?

A pacific Blue-Eye. I have seen them and they are actually called Blue-Eyes and they are lovely looking.

Oo thanks, I just couldn't find anything on here since the search function claims the word "eye" is too "short"

Im small, green, white or yellow. My scales are edged with black when I mature. When I'm green I have no stripes. When I'm white I have whiter striped and when im yellow I have black stripes.

My fins are red and I have a fourth stripe over my eye . . .

. . . what fish am I ? . . .

This fish could also be whats known as a "Lamp Eye". They are also very small but the blue eyes are almost neon blue and the bodies resemble a more transparent silverish look. Very different to the Pacific Blue Eyes quoted above. Sorry tho i dont have a picture to show :(

could it be the lamp eye tetra?
not sure if it's the same as the pacific blue-eye
