i just wanted to know what breeder boxes are. i think they are like little boxes you set at the top of your tank in the water to hold fish, but i wanted to know if they can hold guppy fry, or if theyre too small, or what.

They are made of clear plastic with small holes where water can enter it from the tank.....they kinda float on top of the water and surface tension enables them to "stick" to the side of the tank....

They are fine of baby guppies (or other baby fish) to grow up in...to a certain age....part of the growth period of a fry requires that they be able to swim in a large environment provided they are safe from the hungry mouths of other fish

I've got a net one, like a plastic frame with a net over all sides and metal clips to go over the side of my tank.

It was very cheap, about £2.50 if I remember right.

But be careful, I've found guppy moms can "jump" out of the breeder so I covered mine when I used to use it.
