Hi, I am new here and am finding it very friendly and helpful. I have a 65 gallon tank which currently inhabits:

1 RTBS (not agressive, keeps itself to itself).
6 serpae tetras.
6 bleeding hearts.
12 red-tailed rasbora (rasbora borapetensis).
I can't decide what to put in to finish off the stocking. I am thinking of Corydoras or maybe a school of smaller rainbows. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks. :)

panda corys got ut on to them on here and now i love em
I would advise against it. A lot of people have trouble with them and i have too. If i ever keep them again it will be in a species tank because these thigns are sooo delicate. I would Say angels would be cool

Thanks for your replies. I don't think I would go with livebearers as I am not a big fan. I also like Pandas and have 3 in my 10 gallon that I love, so I am leaning towards them. I do like angels but worry about them with the serpaes, although they do seem to chase only each other around. Any more suggestions? :)

65 Gallons is a lot of space for these small fish, so i would get more of the tetras to make a bigger shoal that would look really nice. I would get at least another 6 of the tetra species.
I think you should look into loaches, but corys would also work. As said, Pandas can be quite sensitive but there are plenty of corys out there that do well.
Then maybe you should think about "centrepiece" fish to go with your RTB Shark... A plec perhaps, or a nice pair of peacful cichlids? Rams or something maybe?

Ben

Red eye tetra's are nice....maybe even a group of gold barbs . A small peaceful species of cichlid would be nice too.. ;)

Thanks for your input everyone. It has been very helpful. Would a possible final stocking of these fish look OK, bearing in mind that this is 65 US gallons. My filter is an Eheim Cannister 2217 by the way.

9 serpae tetra
9 bleeding heart tetra
12 red-tailed rasbora
1 RTB shark
2 rams
3 zebra loaches

I hope this wouldn't be overstocked.
