Just looking at what tank i should get as i have none suitable at the momnent. I was thinking this aqua start 500:http://www.aquaone.co.uk/prod_details.php?id_no=52095sv.
Its 65l is that big enough for a decent nano reef? I was looking to have some different aneomies and a couple of clown fish and some different invertebrates.
Do you think this tank will be suitable if not can anyone recommend any??
Thanks
any help will be appreciated

That link didn't display anything for me, but that's 17 us gallons and that is a good size IMO.

Make sure you like the dimentions and that it will have sufficient space for LR and Coral placement.

Decent tank, although the lighting is pretty sub-par for keeping corals, and definitely inadequate for an anemone. I hate to have to tell new aquarists this, but nems need lots of light, and stable water conditions... Something first-time reefkeepers are rarely able to accomplish in a nano tank. Its really just a lack of experience keeping them back.

If are like most new aquarists and are attracted to that look, or are concerned about a host for the clownfish, consider using frogspawn, hammer, or torch corals instead. FAR easier to keep than an anemone for a new aquarist.

I was going to change the lighting if i got that a tank as i know aneomies need more light.
Thanks for the help.

you could only have one anemone, make sure you wait at least 5 months before adding one tho

Gordon....I know this causes some of our members upset, but, anemones really don't belong in nano tanks. There is a post on this here. Read it thru. There are some beautiful corals that look like anemones that can fare better. Just a recommendation.
