This fry is approx 3 weeks old and its colours are appearing rapidly, is this normal at this age?

Bloody hell 5teady what are you feeding them. My biggest is only that size and is nearly 6 weeks old :hyper: :hyper:
 
Just bbs and crushed betta pellets lol, i am shocked at its size and colour lol
 
How many times a day do you feed them?

This is my biggest Dyson at 6 weeks. He hasn't got any colour so I'm presuming he will be more like Mum Sahara.

When my platy had some there were bright orange straight away!!
Thats how i noticed them!! :p
It looks sooo cute though!!

I feed the fry about 4 times a day lol
 
Maybe that's why mine are so small then. Twice a day is what they get. BBS, betta starter & sometimes MW if the BBS fails. Are the others that size too or just him......I still can't believe how big and colourful he is :drool:
 
red is a very strong colour and usually develops very early on in fry, he is quite a size which is why you can see i so well

yup the others are same size as that one :)

I have to admit though, i have been feeding them so beefheart as well lol, i know they are a bit young for it but they love it lol.
