Well I am using RO water, so I would rather not consideing my nitrate is more than fine for now. What do you mean, I have been out of cycle for two weeks? I am going to try my way for now, if my nitrate readings are bad, then I will reconsider. But everything is great so far.

I suspect splitting your existing Marble Hatchetfish group in half from 12 to 6 is going to affect them negatively, they rely on numbers for security being small skittish fish, if you want a change of stocking then IMO sell the whole group of 12.
