What Do You Think Of This Light, Thinking Of Buying One

Seems okay to me, but I guess it depends on your hood, I don't think it's submersibe so you'd have to have like a glass or plastic flat lid on your tank for it to fit / work. Wouldn't it? Unless I've missed somethign XD

i think it just sort of clips on, ill have to look it up more lol, i have a plastic lid. Its only like £10 for it its 11w and i might get one nextw eek when i have some more money. :D
I have ither a big plastic unflat lid or a smaller plastic panel lid lol, either should work :p

Mmm, is it clear? That's what I meant, if it clips on top you don't wanna have to leave the lid open every time you wanna use the light....

i know what you mean yeah, its a clear see through flat lid, so that should work! :D Dont want no lid on, its a suicidal risk for my girls lol!

Awesome I can't really see any problems with it then... :D Obvs, make sure it has the right plug size / shape /voltage :)

Yeah bettas are definitly jumpers O_O

Yay :D after i get this light my tanks complete, i have a good heater, fitler, bettas, plants etc :p Hopefully its good enough for the plants =]

i got one of those lights they are perfect hun :) - can get cheap replacement bulbs at homebase to

I have one and I don't rate them, tbh. Much prefer the Arc Pod.

Mine is flimsy and the plastic clip on the bottom stresses easily - it's already got cracks in it and I've been careful with it! It also falls off into the tank with the slightest nudge.

If you can find something sturdier and more water-proof, I would.

I think i'll go with it anyway reveiws say its good and i wont be nudging the tank easily its out of the way on a desk. :good:

I agree with above, make sure that the light is totally encased in plastic so that if it does fall in it wont fry the fish!! Luke dropped the light on my sorority tank in the water when we 1st got it (b4 the fish were in) it was turned on but as it was so well insulated nothing went bang!!
