What Do These Plants Want From Me?

I have planted bogwood as per the pictures in the link below however the plants aren't a picture of health what do i need to add to the water or do for them i thought i'd get away with just adding them as they are without nutrients

Liquid fertilizer for sure. If all they are getting now is tap water, a good all round fert will help for sure. I'm not totally sure what the UK generally recommends, but I'm a fan of Flourish.
