What Do People Do With The Babies,

I read a lot of people's posts about having a pair of Oscars, but always wonder what do they do with all the babies the Oscars make? Do they have to find homes for the babies or do they cull the babies or what?

Sometimes your LFS will take them, I think the babies have to be around 1" before you take them away from the parents to do this ( don't Quote me)

If the O's are in with other fish then some of the fry will be eaten, Some ppl sell private... list goes on really.... All depends on the individual.

Have you got a breeding pair then?

I used my LFS and I got discounts and they paid me thru their breeders program, I sold Angels and Convicts though.

[I don't have a pair because I thought I had no way of getting rid of them. I have about six local pet stores in my area and never have I heard of them buying fish from a customer, but then again I haven't asked.

Some of the shops will buy... I think most will give you store credit.
