 I have put an oto in with my male betta. Cato the oto has eaten all the alge out of the tank. I have tried to feed him alge wafers but he won't eat them. What else can I try?

let some betta pellets sink he wil go after them,or some flakes, get a pinch and put it under the water with ur finget tips and swish it around a bit they will sink. hey pm or call me bout picking up the fish tommorow. and they are both free remember, no-fins and filter boy? hey any ideas on what u r gonna rename them? :fish: :hyper:

Her name is Miss Fauna Nofin (Fauna for her father Forest, which is full of flora and fauna) And I don't have a name for filter-boy yet. I want to see how he acts.
:flowers: :thanks: I promise to give them the best home I can. Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!!!

See you later!

My otos were unbelievably picky. Wouldn't touch anything, even when they were alone in quarantine. The only thing I had luck feeding them was zucchini. They pick at cucumber, but the hang onto zucchini so long I have to shake them off when I remove it.

it might be wort cultivating some algae for them? put smooth stones or pieces of slate into water with aquatic plant fertilizer added, and place in a sunny spot. the stone should grow a coating of algae and if you keep a steady supply of them rotating round should help.

I want to see pics of fauna and filter boy in their new homes.
