What do I need?

I have a fluval duo 1200 tank which comes with 2 35w lights, one white one UV(I think). I want to plant the tank a bit, but don't know what i can support? Do I need a CO2 system? Do I need more lights?

More lights are always good As I think you only have just over one watt per gallon...

However I don't know if more will fit into your canopy you will have to have a look.

No theres only room for 2 lights, but with 2 x 35w its 35gallon so 2watts per gallon? Do different kind of lights not count?
