I currently have a 20g H with the fish in my signature. What do I need to move to balance the tank out...not to have it overstocked.

remove the "third wheels" and the solitary fish. Keep your pairs and the otos. ;)

Get more tetras or get rid of them (it) altogether... Few more cories and ottos, and you're all good for your bottom layer. Also, do your bronze and albino cories school together? Also, what do you plan to do w/ those fry?

They do best in schools. One by itself would feel very uncomfortable. Get half a dozen, or four. So either buy 5 more or 3...

My corys are always in different sections of the tank. I rarely see them together. I am not sure at this point what I'll do with the fry. I want to keep at least 1 though.

I would love to get more but that wouldnt help with my overstocked problem. The tank is overstocked..isnt it?

I really wanted a pair of clown loaches but unfortunately it'll be too much for the tank.

yeah, and the tank to small for them. they get over one foot ya know.

your tank should be
20g Tank
4 Corys (2 Albinos, 2 Bronze)
5 Fancy Guppies (2 Males & 3 Females)
3 Swordtails (1 Male, 2 Females)
3 Platys (1 Mickey Mouse Male, 1 Gold Twin Bar Male, 1 Sunset Female)
2 Otto Cats

get an fry tank for the 7 Fancy Guppy Fry. Keep them in there. Make it at least 6 galons, ten at best.

get rid of:
1 Serpae Tetra
1 Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami
2 Black Sailfin Mollies (1 Male 1 Female)

mollies have a mean streak in them and could crack any second and attack the tank. They also get bigger than the other fish.

1 foot?! Wow....I guess when I get a much bigger tank I'll have them. Thanks.

Hi ravekiss :)

You are a bit overstocked now. :X

I think that it's time for you to think about getting another tank. Even if you just got another 10 or 20 gallon, you could move your corys into it and add one of your lovely bettas to the top. It would make them happier and relieve the overcrowding in your present tank. :D

See, this is how MTS begins!

I agree with wrs on these. You are over stocked with 21 fish (over 40" at maturity). The serpae will probably harrass everything in the tank as they are VERY nippy, especially when not in schooling numbers. Even getting rid of those 4 fish, you are still a little overstocked but if you do water changes (about 20%) every week, you should be ok.
