What Do I Feed?

1st week: Infursia, infursia are easy to spawn, just put some lettuce in a jar of tank water, and when it starts turning green, thats your infursia
2nd to 3rd week- bbs or microworms( you can get them on www.aquabid.com)
4th week and up: same as above, but, you could start on flakes/pellets

It shouldn;t be bacteria it should be infursia, plus the babies wont eat the bacteria.

Thank you! :sly: :hey:    :good: what do I use to hatch brine shrimp? :/ what kind of salt do I use  and how do I breed them?

if you are asking these questions then you should do research. There are tons of websites and articles about breeding and rearing the fry.

i just use a pop bottle, add warm water, and a little bit of aquarium salt. after the salt is dissolved add the shrimp eggs, and stick an air pump in there over night. its not hard or anything, but it could take around 24 hours at times.

when you said how do i breed them were you talking about the bettas or the bbs? i thought u were talking about bettas..so n/m my last post.. but you just buy the eggs for the bbs.

use microworms form day 1.The after 3-5 weeks grindal worms.Or first 2 weeks microworms,2-4 week bbs and 5 week bbs and grindal worms.

First few days feed them on infusoria, mw's, or ve's, after a week or so, feed them baby brine shrimp, and when they're old enough (about 5 weeks) you can start feeding them bigger foods.
Also, make sure you get your cultures running and with food before you spawn...
