Ok so earlier on i was re-aranging some of the decor in my main tank, and i chipped a peice of glass off the top of the tank with a rock by accident. It was a tiny peice but i can't see it anywhere in the tank; the tank has fine white sand in it and i am worried about my khuli loaches or corys injuring their barbs on the peice-what do i do??

When you say tiny, how tiny do you mean? Too small to sift the sand with a colander? What about a flour sifter for getting lumps out of flour. Do you have a rough idea where it landed? could you remove the surface of that section, let it dry and check it?

I would say it was about 3mm long...it landed in a planted area of the tank which is bad because i am worried if i try moving the plants to look for it, i will only lose it further...
The sand in the tank is about 2inch's deep and i was wondering, is glass heavier than sand? the sand is very fine(like icing sugar almost, you may have seen it in various lfs); i was wondering if i stir the sand up, will it just settle at the bottom cos it is heavier?
I don't have any other ideas on what to do...

IF it were me, I would rip up the plants and sift the sand.
You will constantly be nervous and wondering, just like I would be.
It might be a big hassle and mess, but think of how much better you'll feel if you do it.

yeah i think i'll do that but i'll have to buy a seive with smaller enough holes and if i can't find the glass i'll buy some new sand -_- .
