Hi,
I was in my LFS today - still drooling over the lovely fish I'll be able to get when my tank FINALLY finishes cycling and I noticed a really pretty Betta in one of the tanks, swimming/lying near the bottom on its side and then one of the other little fish (not sure what - still learning) came up and nipped its fin and it swam away but then adopted the same position - on its side near the bottom.
As a complete newbie I didn't want to call one of the LFS people over in case its normal behaviour and I looked really stupid (for a change - not!) but I thought I'd ask here. So is this normal Betta behaviour or was it sick and tired of being bullied, literally?
