What Deffuser?

Hey everyone
Im Thinking about changing my Co2 deffuser as its the nutrafin ladder im using with my Co2 . I was going to get the ADA one but its not cheap

so any ideas?

i bought mines from ebay for 20dollars..you can check there but i dont think they are much cheaper than that...

Just so we know, you using yeast or pressurise CO2? The ceramic type diffusers dont work with yeast type CO2 as they cant build enough pressure, well thats what Ive heard.

I don't specifically know if it's been tested with larger diffusers but I can't see why it would make any difference. It's funny how a lot of people speculate regarding whether certain things work or not. Sometimes I think the www is a bit like chinese whispers...

Just one of those things I guess.

I thought it was actually the reverse. If the ceramic disk isn`t porus enough to let the CO2 get through, it would building up inside the container you get increased pressure until the container will explode!

Pressurised, is a constant pressure so you have no worries, it lets through what it can + the container is built to withstand the pressure!

That was my thoughts on it, i haven`t research, experimented or tried it! I just presumed every time i saw people write "you can`t use ceramics with yeast system that was the reason!"

Haha yeh I guess it is really! I guess too that I could try it myself! Lazy git that I am! Have a bigger diffuser on my pressuried system may give it a try on yeast just as a bit of an experiment.
