What could I get for my 55g if i convert?

Well, I'm going to get my salt water tank tomarow. I was just wanting to see what I could get for it if IF I gettired of the saltyness.
Would like jack dempsies work? or some white jelly bean parots? (white lol not blue or red or green or pink or red)

yes as DD pointed out most of his list would work except for the GT males get BIG and need at least a 75 but it would take them a while. there would be some geophagus species as well that you could keep in there. just depends on what kind of personality you are looking for and if you are willing to have just 1 fish in a tank or if you want more than 1 fish in the tank.

also if you wanna get those fish dont get pairs because they breed easily and get highly aggresive towards other fish

The Jack Demsey's would work in a salt water tank? Is that what you mean? JD are VERY aggessive. We had one and we had to get rid of it because it was too aggressive towards our other fish. It was in a tank with a Oscar that was also VERY aggressive.

lol you just completely took a swing and completely missed my question lol. Well I do have convicts i want to get rid of but they probly will be gone before my interest in marine fish is gone.
