i have a 5ft long by 2 ft high by 20inches back to front
i have a 4ft arcadia luminaire with three 40 watt 42inch t8 bulbs in, (one with one reflecter over it two sharing a reflecter over them)
and two 4ft 54 watt t5s both sharing a reflector

watt kind of corals can i keep

What colours and wavelengths are they mate...in theory if balanced you can keep most..avoid the likes of acros but til test with hardier sps such as montipora,etc....

the t5s are marine arctic whites
and two of the t8s are called just powerglo
and the other unsure

aall white tho

would consider changing power glos for a marine blue and an actinic..these blue wavelengths are much easier for corals to absorb and travel deeper into the water column...

will they hurt for the time being as im spent up for now

Power glos hit into the actinic spectrum so will keep you ticking over meantime..too much white light will simply bleach colour from your tank and can cause algal blooms...Will not bleach your stock,lol..simply the colours you will see.....By using actinics you will get to appreciate any bio luminescence given off by your corals,etc...

well any stock you have should do ok under them lights in the meantime but i would recommend as bud says going to blue and actinic before adding any of the more light dependant corals

kk wil do thanks
