! What conditions does a pregnant guppy need to be in who is looking like she is abou to give birth?

From what I have seen in my tank it makes no dif. If you want to make sure she is calm turn off the light and cover the tank so there is no movement for her to be seen. Do you have her in a breeder net/tank what?

no becuase she is the only fish becuase the other one stays under the filter and never comes out excpet for food and i will turn it off and cover!

Well good luck. I would leave her alone until tommorow. In the morning look for dead fry as not all of them make it and thats OK. Remove dead fry and feed the fish.

she has not had any yet as she seems to still be hiding and not eating as much now and she is calming dwon but still pooping a lot! Is tha normal? it is red and the good is red and brown!
