Well I finally started changing to live plants in my 6 year old, 25 gal, established tank. So far I have an 8in anubias nana which me and my fish really enjoy and now I was wanting to get more plants since its seeming to do good but I'm still looking at the common ones. I'm also concerned about how much these plants will change the water conditions? I was planning on geting some more species of anubias, java ferns, and what about elodea? I heard elodea can make some big water changes if not careful. Also how much should I give these plants fertilizer? I have a 25 gal, low-med light, 15 tropical fish with the same conditions and my ph is 7.4 and I do weekly water changes. So what are some of your ideas and experiances?
