I need to replace my light but Ian not sure what color to get with plants does it matter, blue ,green, white ?

Do you mean what spectrum?
Daylight tubes work well, anything between 5000k and 1000k is okay I personally like 6700k alot because it gives a good green peak which means plant positively "pop".
That said I'm using full spectrum daylights at the moment that are 5600k and I'm warming to them colour rendition is good but a little bit yellow.
Georges article on lighting in the pinned section is an excellent source of reference for tube selection.
